Offering many different shapes and sizes, custom in-ground swimspas give you a much more aesthetically pleasing alternative to a boxy “portable” hot tub in addition to significantly greater flexibility in placement and features.
The Catalina Olympic Swimspa and Swimtrainer series offer the features of a spa, plunge pool and gym all in one beautifully engineered unit. You can enjoy a therpeutic massage to ease away the stress and strains of life, take a cool refreshing dip on a hot summer's day or benefit from a workout in your private aqua gym. It is a fact that swimming/aerobic exercise is one of the best methods of building your body's strength and muscle toning.
Catalina Olympic Swimspas and Swim trainers provide an ideal alternative to a traditional swimming pool. Swim in your back yard without the installation and running expense of a traditional swimming pool. Dream of your own pool but don't have the space? The Catalina solution: 12', 14', 16' and 18' models are available.
Performance:
Each Catalina Olympic Series is fully programmable to run at your ideal temperature. The Marathon has the advantage of two fully independent heating zones. All models are fitted with 4 independently controlled hi-flo swim jets pumps; this allows not only a very powerful counter current but gives you more bather control. This combined with specially developed adjustable 3 River swim jets, give a stable and direction controlled swimming current.
Running Costs:
Catalina only uses High Density Thermal Pan Foam Insulation where the back of the shell and the back of the cabinet is covered with a thick layer of high density foam that uses air in between as an insulator, much like a double pane window. Each model is also supplied with a UL listed safety/insulation cover.

Catalina manufactures all the Swimspas and Swimtrainers giving you the ideal opportunity to customize your spa to your own specifications with any of the unique options and accessories.
With a traditional hot tub you’re forced to landscape around the spa, resulting in a compromise between convenience and looks. An in-ground swim spa lets you incorporate the installation into your landscaping plans, enhancing your yard’s appearance. Fiberglass swim spas can be installed in a deck, in the ground, or even partially in-ground and finished to your back yard’s masonry, whether it’s concrete, stamp-crete or pavers.
With a fiberglass in-ground swim spa, YOU decide how many jets you want and where you want to place them. YOU decide how far in or out of the ground you want the spa built. YOU decide the way you want the outside finished. YOU decide exactly where you want the swim spa to go… it is a totally customizable project.
